JETT AUCTION – TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective Date: January 2024 These Terms of Service govern participation in any auction conducted by Jett Auction. By registering, bidding, or participating in any auction (in-person or online), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

By participating in any Jett Auction event, you acknowledge that: You have read and understood these Terms. You accept all rules, fees, and policies. You agree to comply with all procedures outlined herein. You understand that all sales are final and binding. Failure to review these Terms does not relieve you of responsibility.

Buyers are solely responsible for conducting independent due diligence before placing a bid. This includes, but is not limited to: Verifying year, make, model, trim, drivetrain, powertrain, features, options, and condition. Reviewing all available CARFAX reports. Inspecting vehicles in person prior to bidding. All vehicles are processed using VIN decoding software and automated data systems. CARFAX reports are scanned by automated programs to extract listing details. While Jett Auction makes CARFAX reports available with each listing, information may contain errors due to data entry issues, third-party reporting inaccuracies, or system limitations. Jett Auction makes no guarantees or representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of vehicle information. It is the Buyer’s sole responsibility to independently review the full CARFAX report and verify all vehicle details prior to placing a bid. Misrepresentation, omission, listing errors, or automated data inaccuracies do not constitute grounds for cancellation or withdrawal from a binding bid. Buyers assume full responsibility for: Bids placed from their account. Bids placed from their electronic devices. Bids placed by children, pets, or any other individual using their device.

All vehicles and items are sold: AS IS WHERE IS WITH ALL FAULTS Jett Auction makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to: Merchantability Fitness for purpose Mechanical condition Structural integrity Accuracy of description Vehicles may have defects, wear and tear, accident history, mechanical issues, structural damage, or outstanding manufacturer recalls. Buyers are responsible for contacting authorized dealers to verify recall status. This website and auction listings are not guaranteed to be accurate or current.

The highest bidder becomes the purchaser. Bids are irrevocable. A non-refundable down payment is required immediately: $500 for purchases under $5,000 $1,000 for purchases over $5,000 Full payment must be received by 4:00 PM Tuesday following the auction. Failure to complete payment may result in: Forfeiture of deposit Forfeiture of item $250 late payment fee Legal action

The registered purchaser must be present with valid identification and required documentation. NO third-party pickups or registrations are permitted. Failure to comply will result in a $199 administrative fee.

Jett Auction shall not be liable for: Data inaccuracies Technical issues Bid errors Listing errors Losses arising from failure to inspect Failure to review policies. Participation is at the bidder’s sole risk.

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia.

Jett Auction reserves the right to modify policies, fees, and procedures at any time without prior notice.

Jett Team strives to provide transparent and fair automotive sales. To protect the integrity of our business operations, the Customer agrees to the following: No Chargebacks: I agree that I will not initiate a credit card chargeback or dispute with my financial institution for "merchandise not as described," "defective merchandise," or "fraudulent transaction" once I have taken possession of the vehicle. Dispute Resolution: In the event of a disagreement regarding the vehicle or the transaction, I agree to contact Jett Team directly at sales@jettauction.com to attempt a good-faith resolution before contacting my credit card issuer. Liability for Fees: I acknowledge that credit card disputes cause Jett Team to incur administrative costs and merchant fees. If I initiate a chargeback that is subsequently found to be invalid or is decided in favor of Jett Team, I agree to be held liable for the original transaction amount plus any associated chargeback fees and administrative costs incurred by Jett Team in defending the case.
