Arbitration Claim
Please read before submission
Arbitration is strictly limited to undisclosed, verified catastrophic engine or transmission failure and qualifying undisclosed structural damage. Vehicles sold for $5,000 or less, vehicles with more than 200,000 kms, and vehicles marked as not suitable for transportation or sold as Tow Units do not qualify for arbitration under any circumstance. This form is not for buyer’s remorse, routine maintenance, cosmetic, electrical, HVAC concerns, or negotiation requests. This is an automated eligibility process based strictly on Jett Auction’s published Arbitration Guidelines and submission deadlines. It is not a live-monitored intake system, and submission of this form does not guarantee arbitration review unless all eligibility requirements are met. By submitting this Arbitration Claim Form, you acknowledge and agree that a non-refundable $299 Arbitration Fee applies and authorize Jett Auction to charge this fee for administrative review and investigation of the claim.

Please select the reason for your claim below:
Please carefully review the definition of each selection before submitting your claim. This form is automated and will generate a response based on Jett Auction’s internal arbitration guidelines. Once submitted, you will receive an automated notification confirming whether your vehicle qualifies for arbitration or does not meet eligibility requirements.
Would qualify: Undisclosed catastrophic engine failure includes sudden internal mechanical breakage such as a thrown connecting rod, cracked engine block, spun bearing causing engine seizure, timing chain failure resulting in piston-to-valve damage, complete internal loss of compression due to mechanical breakage, or internal engine seizure requiring full engine replacement or major internal rebuild. ( What does not qualify: ) Catastrophic engine failure does not include oil or coolant leaks, overheating due to maintenance neglect, head gasket failure unless directly caused by sudden internal mechanical breakage, misfires, rough running, low compression from wear, noisy lifters, sensor or electrical issues, check engine lights, external component failures, performance modifications, or engines that still start and operate under their own power.
Undisclosed catastrophic engine failure
Would qualify: Undisclosed catastrophic engine failure includes sudden internal mechanical breakage such as a thrown connecting rod, cracked engine block, spun bearing causing engine seizure, timing chain failure resulting in piston-to-valve damage, complete internal loss of compression due to mechanical breakage, or internal engine seizure requiring full engine replacement or major internal rebuild. Undisclosed catastrophic transmission failure
Undisclosed catastrophic transmission failure means a sudden and verifiable internal mechanical breakage within the transmission assembly that was not disclosed in the listing at the time of sale, that renders the vehicle inoperable under its own power, and that requires complete transmission replacement or major internal rebuild of the transmission assembly. The failure must be confirmed in writing by an approved licensed inspection facility within the arbitration deadline and must exceed $1,500 in parts (labor excluded). Catastrophic transmission failure applies only to internal mechanical components of the transmission assembly. Internal Mechanical Components of the Transmission Assembly Include: • Gear sets (planetary gear sets, sun gears, ring gears) • Input shaft and output shaft • Main shaft assemblies • Internal clutch packs and friction discs • Steel reaction plates • Internal bands • Drums • Internal bearings and bushings • Internal thrust washers • Internal pump assembly (when failure is due to internal mechanical breakage) • Internal valve body components only where internal mechanical breakage occurs • Internal torque converter components (stator, turbine, impeller) where mechanical breakage renders the vehicle inoperable Not Considered Internal Catastrophic Components ( Excluded Components: ) • Transmission control module (TCM) • Sensors or wiring • Solenoids • External seals or gaskets • Fluid leaks • Mounts • Linkage or shifter mechanisms • Software or programming issues • Maintenance-related wear or contamination
Undisclosed structural damage
Undisclosed structural damage means existing or previously repaired damage to a vehicle’s primary structural components that was required to be disclosed under Jett Auction’s policy but was not disclosed in the listing at the time of sale. Structural components include the frame rails, unibody rails, crossmembers, floor pan structural supports, A/B/C pillars, rocker panels, core supports, strut towers, or other load-bearing structural elements as defined by industry standards such as UVMS. To qualify for arbitration, the structural damage must: Be verifiable through inspection by an approved licensed facility Exceed normal wear, cosmetic damage, or minor bolt-on component replacement Fall outside any properly disclosed structural repair Be submitted within the stated arbitration deadline
